Abstract 3D printing by means of fused filament fabrication involves extruding and depositing melted material in layers to produce a part. Current requires manual intervention from human operator between prints, leading inefficiency. The focus this study was facilitating the automation additive manufacturing process. Based on suggestions for future works field, extended automated 3D-part removal systems implementing additional operations automate production proposed system uses robotic arms grippers operate maintain printers; specifically, 3D-printed parts, cleaning printer beds, application glue beds assist with print adhesion, monitoring bed levelness. importance contribution is improved efficiency 3D-printing production, allowing continuous 3D-printer operation decreasing requirement interaction demonstrated using 7 degrees freedom KUKA arm ROBOTIQ gripper autonomously an Ender 3 V2 printer. Sensor data information printers used determine required or function be performed system. Tasks were movement sequences supplied data. System status recorded alerting operators when required. implementation these functions allows continuously longer periods, increasing as downtime involvement maintenance prints minimized.
